ONGOING GROUPS

Tuesdays and Thursdays. Wigton, Cumbria.
TAI CHI
Yang Style Short and Long Forms, Quick Fist, fixed pattern pushing hands and partner work.
Looking for an interest that will stimulate you mentally and physically?
Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese art said to promote balance and harmony in daily life. Central to the practice is the ' form ', recognizable for its slow, graceful movements. Tai chi is invigorating and energizing. It can lead to numerous health benefits as old patterns of tension are replaced by positive alternatives. Tai Chi’s movement is based on the understanding of how water moves; appearing soft and flowing and yet containing an inner strength and resilience.
The classes are taught in a friendly non-competitive atmosphere.
Wear loose comfortable clothing with bare feet or trainers.
Classes are suitable for adults of any age.
